This mountain is for everyone

We’re ringing in the summer season loud and proud with our first annual MTN PRIDE celebration. Warm, open and welcoming to all, this environment is all about coming together in the outdoors. We have a variety of activities lined up for a family-friendly, fun-filled day on the mountain. We are committed to providing a safe space for all people to explore and join in the fun of the mountain community!
Kicking off at 10am, check in at the base to pick up your scenic gondola tickets and ride to the summit for views of Mt. Rainier. For an added active adventure, participate in the Pride Hike! All donations benefit the Lambert House, a center for LGBTQIA+ youth and their allies. The group will be guided by local volunteers down the Crystal Mountain Trail from the summit to the base. Meander through the meadows of ski runs, alpine lakes and an old mining area called Jim Town. Once you reach the Crystal-clear Henskin Lake, you will continue onto the Silver Creek trail back to the base area where the live music is bumping and the games are in full swing.

Did someone say prizes? Time to get competitive and creative with the mountain-wide virtual scavenger hunt! Take three easy steps to play:

- Enter the game code (emailed to all who register)
- Start playing by completing missions for points!
Missions can be as easy as ‘find something blue’ or as challenging as using the trail as your fashion catwalk. Prizes include Dakine backpacks, Smith sunglasses and a spot on a guided climb of Mt. Baker from Alpine Ascents International. But you have to play to win – register for FREE during checkout. Full directions to play will be emailed to all who register. This is the perfect all-ages activity!
The party starts at 11am with the opening of the Wine & Cheese Festival. Those guests who are 21+ are invited to get a taste of the different flavors and fun in the base area. LGSP will be spinning live mixes of nudisco and latin house music to set that mountain fresh vibe. Throughout the event our resident queens & kings will be challenging you to missions as part of our virtual scavenger hunt and at 2pm call everyone to the mountain catwalk for a fabulous Mtn Glam Fashion Show.
